Tree Maintenance Programme

Have you noticed old trees being cut down and stumps left in the ground? Have you noticed new trees being planted around your community?

South Dublin County Council operates a 3-year rolling programme of tree maintenance.  In line with the Council’s Tree Management Policy 2015-2020 “Living With Trees”, the focus of the Tree Maintenance Programme is on entire roads or whole estates.

This is all part of the tree maintenance plan by South Dublin County Council. You can view a list of roads where:
– New trees are being planted HERE
– Trees are being surveyed and added to a list of works in Lucan & Palmerstown HERE
– Current works on Wheatfield Road can be viewed HERE
